| Logic/Critical Thinking |
| |
| The required book for this class will be the 2022 version of The Art of Argument by Aaron Larsen and Joelle Hodge.
This class will prepare your student to think critically instead of subjectively. We will explore terms, definitions, syllogisms, and learn the art of knowing the right questions to ask. Students will be given homework! A large part of their grade will be based on completed assignments and attendence.
The class will taught in a light-hearted fashion with fun subject matters to argue and be able to identify fallacies. This is a year long course.
Materials needed: Folders for handouts, 3 ring binder with looseleaf paper, pen/pencil, eraser, and a heart ready to learn!
