| Percussion Ensemble 13+ |
| |
| Material fee covers the cost of sticks and music book. Previous students will have this fee deducted from their account.
In this class we will explore the different percussion instruments that are part of a concert band. Basic drum lessons will be part of the class, giving students an opportunity to find out which drum they like best. We do have some instruments but not the supply a public school would have! However, each student will have the opportunity to practice on each piece we have.
Students are required to bring a music stand and pencil. A drum pad or snare drum is recommended, but not required.
We will work towards the goal of performing in the spring concert with the String Ensemble and Brass and Woodwinds Ensemble. |
