| | Students will board imaginary planes and boats (chairs set up) to explore 7 two-week trips per semester to well-known foreign countries. Children will be exposed to each nations flag, map location, food, weather, basic natural resources, unique customs and very basic vocabulary. We will have lots of hands-on games, paper projects, stories and puzzles. Each student will be given a backpack and passport as well as keep a picture journal of their discoveries. | | My name is Candyce Torres, and I am thrilled to be part of this vibrant homeschool community. As a homeschooling mom of three wonderful children Gavin, Elliana, and Isabella who have been attending Palaestra since 2018, I understand firsthand the importance of providing a nurturing and enriching educational environment. In my teaching philosophy, I strive to create a supportive and engaging atmosphere where children can thrive. I believe in the power of silliness and laughter to unlock creativity and foster a love for learning. Most importantly, I am dedicated to helping children recognize their unique gifts and talents, knowing that each one is fearfully and wonderfully made by God. |
