| In this class each assignment will be a problem to solve with clay. For example, make a person who is wearing a hat and carrying something. Emphasis will be on expanding creative thinking, processes management-turning an idea into a tangible object, problem solving...oops, the guy had his head fall off again.... developing an artististic eye, as well as making the most of the flexibility and limitations of clay. Each successive assignment will present a new problem to be solved like build an interesting box with a lid using slab construction. And each semester, returning students will be given more advanced assignments. |
