  1. NEXT WEEK! Teacher Appreciation Day This is a luncheon for all the teachers and staff of Palaestra. Families kindly bring in salads, casseroles, soft drinks, mains and desserts for the teachers to share. 11 o’clock classes that day will end at 11:45 and 12:30 classes will start at 12:45 to give the teachers time to spend together. Thank you for your help in this special event for our teachers, this is the ONLY time they are ever all together as a group!

  1. JOB Opportunities!!! Yard Work Help Needed: Looking for someone to help year round except for the deepest of winter months. November is Christmas lights. Paying $8 to start, and will increase if reliable. Help needed with raking, weeding, planting, etc.. No power tools. Especially early on, I will work with you outdoors. Must enjoy being outside and be willing to do some lifting and moving of mulch and plants – that kind of thing. Appx. 10 hours per week once established, but likely more in spring and fall. Must have own transportation to my house. Thanks!
    Housekeeping help needed: Approximately 4-6 hours per week. Your own transportation needed. Pay: $15/hr. I definitely have cats, and you need to be comfortable with that. December 14th Christmas Concert and Open House  Thursday evening 7:00. Doors open at 6:45. Classes will showcase projects and art. Afterglow to follow concert.
