~~Character and Object Art for Games, Animation, and Comics
This class is ideal for students who have taken Game Design, or for students who want to develop their art skills.

How do Artists and Designers come up with ideas for games, movies and comics? How do Concept Artists, Storyboard Artists, 2D Artists, and 3D Artists make these ideas come to life?
We will explore different art styles and how to draw them. Students will learn fundamental drawing skills of light and shape, how to maintain form, and how to create the look of action on paper. Students will also be introduced to digital 2D and 3D art, and the types of programs used in their creation.
Students will practice constructive criticism on in-class group assignments, and time management through simple homework assignments.
