  Civics (grades 10-12)

~~This high school civics course will be using Foundation for Freedom, by Christian Liberty Press. The purpose of the class is to facilitate families who want to have a high school civics course and provide their student with a once a week group learning environment. This one semester course focuses on the United States Constitution. There are 15 chapters to cover and the pace of this course will be brisk! Parents are in charge of administering the 13 tests at home and having their student turn them in the following week.

For the December Choir Concert and Art Show, students will be asked to prepare visual presentation to put on display. The presentation may be an artistic image or a report on one of the amendments or the Constitution as a whole.

Mrs. Schmidt will issue a suggested grade but the final grade is to be determined by the parent.

The course may be counted as a half credit course.
