  U S Geography/SS
   
  This middle school class will give students a foundational understanding of the geographical make up of our vast country. Students will learn to identify the major mountain ranges, deserts, plains, forests, industrial areas and coastal regions, and how that affects human endeavor and interaction. We will look at some of our National Parks, major cities, farm and animal producing areas, and major recreational spots. Using media, hands on activities, games and more, we will embark on a fun exploration of America!

  Instructor Bio:
  Jody White and her husband, Jeff White have both retired from their 25-year Real Estate Career in 2010 to focus on their two children. Jody was blessed with the families and leadership at Palaestra to help her home school their children from the fifth grade up to the tenth grade. She has a been a long-term student of Madonna University and has earned several degrees (Business/Marketing 1991 & Family Consumer Science/Speech Communication 2006). She loves the Lord and likes to visit with Him daily.
