~~The ubiquitous access and ease of use make electronics one of the defining characteristics of our new millennium. Understanding how electronics work opens up a new understanding of the world we live in. This class has three objectives for the students:
Encourage to explore electronics, math, and science Develop basic soldering skills and be able to identify common electronic components Foster familiarity with basic electronics skills.
Students previous courses have enjoyed building small electronic kits, a trip to an engineering lab, and experimenting with basic electronic lab equipment. I am searching for a few good projects that will be both fun to build and use afterwards (my 12th grade daughter is critiquing my proposals) and also instructive and challenging.
