| | Please note: the material fee covers the cost of equipment rental. Marge Lisius currently teaches the Simple Machines and Simple Machines and Motorized Mechanisms classes. This winter she will also be teaching Introduction to Fencing. She has been involved in competitive fencing for 7 years and is a board member of a local salle (place to fence). She has worked on national tournaments with the US Fencing Association. This class will offer instruction in basic footwork and bladework, stressing safety, good form and good sportsmanship (and, of course, fun!). Equipment will be provided, including mask, blade ("sword" or "weapon"), fencing jacket and glove. All three weapons will be introduced (foil, epee and saber) although most classwork will use foil.
