Easy Weaving

~~Students in this class will move from a few simple, preparatory projects to use of the tabletop rigid heddle looms. Palaestra has been blessed with a set of these looms, so each student is able to borrow one for the semester for class and to work at home. Students will be able to design their own projects such as place mats, table runners and bags; and their fabric patterns--solids, stripes and plaids.

Instructor Bio:

Ginny Thompson has a background in elementary education and living history work. She has extensive knowledge of spinning and weaving. She is a homeschool mom of three and has taught classes at Palaestra for several years.
