| | Hands on Math will be an adventure in learning and exploring basic math operations. This course will be a hands-on approach for students to understand and master math concepts, by using a variety of crafty and creative techniques. Students will be given complicated math concepts and they will learn how to break them down into more logical and sequential methods using visual crafty aids to make the math experience less stressful. This course is ideal for visual and kinesthetic learners. We are going to color, craft, and fold our way in fun!

| | Mrs. Marlika Davis, a home-educator, is blessed with the talent of working with children of diverse ages and abilities. She loves the challenge of working with students, especially those with special needs. Davis personally motivates students, to let them know they are unique, and all children are capable of greatness. She has been a member of the Palaetra family for three years, and has joined the staff to continue to share her crafty and creative teaching style to the organization. She is a talented and blessed home-educator, and loves teaching and sharing her knowledge. She is very excited about joining the Palaestra staff. She is married to Bennett Davis, Sr., and she is the proud mother of three home-schooled sons (Bennett, II ., Malik, and Jaeden). |
