  Teen Jazz
   
  

~up. In this intermediate level class, students will learn that dance is not only
incredibly fun but can also be a great workout. Dancers must have at least two
full years of prior dance experience. Each week will consist of a high-energy
warm up and fitness routine that focuses on improving flexibility, endurance,
muscle strength and overall dance ability. Students will need to bring a yoga/
pilates mat AND a water bottle to class every week. Proper weekly attire consists
of stretch pants (no jeans or short shorts) and a long T-shirt and black jazz
shoes. Hair must be pulled back every class period. Students who enroll in Teen
Jazz are also strongly encouraged to take Teen Ballet. Material fee is for recital
costume and covers the entire year. PLEASE NOTE: This class is a ONE year
(fall and winter semester) long commitment. There will only be ONE recital and
the end of the WINTER semester in May 2014.
