NIFTY FIFTY!

America is the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave! Join other 3rd, 4th, and 5th Graders as we spend the winter semester learning our Nifty Fifty’s states and capitals. The class will also spend time mapping out the United States, collecting basic facts about each state, and playing games that will help reinforce what we are learning. Each student will create a poster board sized map of the USA with agricultural products identified for each state.  Students will also be asked to choose a state and give a presentation on it in April. This is a great opportunity to develop their abilities to speak in front of others.
