SECOND SEMESTER - continues the text.   

US Constitution Course 100 Description:  An examination of the United States Constitution as the founding fathers intended.  Beginning with the key events that led to the Revolutionary War.  We will examine the people who signed the Constitution and the reasons why.  We will examine the actual meaning of words used in the Constitution at the time of signing using the Oxford English Dictionary as reference.  The course will use video’s and other reference material to give students a thorough knowledge of Constitutional principles.  The course is designed for 11th and 12th grade students.   Parents of students in the course are welcome to attend.  REQUIRED TEXT: “The Making of America”  Published by:  The National Center for Constitutional Studies.

  Instructor Bio:
  Kerry Bentivolio, is a former automotive designer for Ford and General Motors Corporation with 15 years experience. He has 5 years experience in residential construction as both a carpenter and general contractor. He has 12 years full-time experience as a General and Vocational Education as a State certified and licensed teacher in Secondary Education for both private and public schools. He has five college majors with a B.A. Degree and a Master�s Degree in Education. He is retired 27 year veteran who served in the United States military as both a full and part-time soldier with service in Vietnam and Iraq. He has 6 years part-time experience teaching at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, Fort Custer, Michigan, Fort McCoy, Wisconsin and Fort Knox, Kentucky. He is a former member of the United States 113th Congress and was an advocate of Home and Charter School (Schools of Choice) Education.
