| | F/ 9:15-10:00AM. Ballet 1 Ages 5-7: LOCATION: CENTER STAGE DANCE COMPANY
GIRLS ONLY. Ages 5-7. This class is for Tiny Ballet “graduates”, previous Ballet 1 dancers who wish to
continue their dance education as well as ballerinas new to dance! Focus will be on the fundamentals of
the Russian Ballet style, a ballet barre warm up, dance combinations and games. Emphasis will be
learning to dance while having lots of fun. DRESS CODE: pink leather ballet shoes, pink tights, a solid
black leotard and hair in a bun. Dancers must be age 5 by the first day of class. Some 5 year olds without
previous classroom experience are more successful beginning in Tiny Ballet vs. Ballet 1.
PLEASE NOTE: This class is a ONE year (fall and winter semester) long commitment. There will be one
recital at the end of the WINTER semester in May 2019. The Fall semester Material Fee is for the recital
costume. The Winter semester Material Fee is the Recital Fee which is charged once per FAMILY. The
Recital Fee allows students to invite unlimited guests to the end of year performance without purchasing

| | Christina Kilpatrick has been training in Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Lyrical and Praise dance for over fifteen years. She is a STOTT Pilates certified instructor and a certified Personal Trainer through The National Academy of Sports Medicine. Christina has been teaching dance for over fifteen years. She is the founder and Artistic Director of the Palaestra Dance Team and has been leading the program since 2007. Christina is a former company member of Grace Dance Ensemble and was the founder and creator of the six year long Earth to Eternity praise dance ensemble ministry. In addition to conducting the Palaestra Dance Team, Christina is on the children’s ministry team for the Oak Pointe West Bloomfield church plant. She also enjoys cooking, walking in Maybury State Park and spending time with her husband, Iain. Christina loves working with dancers of all ages and abilities and is excited to share her passion for dance with her students!
