Street Beats

In this awesome new class, students will learn the fundamentals of Stomp dance and percussion which includes rhythm patterns, stomp sequences, tempo and terminology. Each class will also include using drumsticks to jam out a fresh beat and add an element of challenge and fun. If you love to rock, stomp and groove, this class is for you!

Instructor Bio:

I’m a (part time) home school dad and full time DJ. I’ve played drums for 37 years and was privately tutvored by the Detroit area’s top drummer. I played percussion at Fordson High School where our drum line won top honors, nationally, 4 years in a row. I spent 3 years at Henry Ford Community College as a drummer with the jazz ensemble and vocal ensemble. I love music. I love drumming. And most of all... I love everything that make noise. I’m really looking forward to teaching these wonderful kids.
