  Serg-ical Techniques

Do you own a serger, thinking “how does this thing really work?” Join us for a fun serg-ical time as we learn techniques to unlock your creativity. You’ll learn basics: thread, unthread and rethread your machine, learn to adjust tension and stitch length/width; overlocking corners and curves; discover hemming techniques; and much more. We’ll be working on skills and serging projects. I’ll be able to help show you answers to your serging questions all the while releasing any frustrations/fears.  Come unlock your newly learned skills and release your creativity.

Must have a working serger. Please note: some project supplies will be the responsibility of the student. These may include and not limited to: thread, needles, scissors (paper and fabric), some fabric, elastic, etc.
