| | In this class, students will learn the basics of clay construction; coil pots, slab construction, and had sculpture. We will introduce a variety of texturing techniques, variations on glaze application, and creative adaption of basic shapes. Returning students will enjoy new projects and be encouraged to expand their creative talents with any repeat projects.
All clay, glazes and firing are included in the material fee. |

| | Kate is one of the five founding board members of Palaestra. Since 1994 she has served as Staff and Schedule Coordinator, and since 2009 as Treasurer and Web Manager as well.
She began home schooling in 1984 and is now proud to have grand daughters enrolled!
Currently, she enjoys teaching hand sculpture to our youngest students. |
