Class Information

World Geography ages 12+

We will be traveling God's world learning the location, spelling, and pronunciation of every single country and capital, while having lots of fun in the process.

Utilizing various memorization techniques, playing geography games, having regular practice quizzes, and giving short country presentations utilizing traditional and multimedia sources will enhance your knowledge of the world we live in.

This class is a must for all college and career bound students.

Instructor Bio:

Mrs Julia Dessert has been teaching for 30 years since graduating from Albion College with majors in English, Speech Communications & Theatre, and Secondary Education. She and her husband of 33 years, Michael, have exclusively homeschooled all five of their children. She has taught at Palaestra in the past and is happy to be back this year. In her free time, Mrs Dessert loves to read, dance, hike, bike, sing, and enjoy her family and friends.
