ABC-Jesus Loves Me /age 3

PLEASE NOTE: Children must be fully three and able to engage in a group setting.

This exciting new class is geared specifically for 3 year olds. Most of our curriculum will come from a very lovely program called 'ABC Jesus Loves Me', by Heidi Franz. Starting with Genisis 1:1 and moving through the book, learning activities are integrated into the story. How about a rainbow made out of Fruit Loops? A "Coat of Many Colors' from a a paper bag with colorful pieces of tissue paper? An insect made with pipe cleaners and googly eyes? Our class will be full of activities designed to engage your child in learning about letters, numbers, shapes, colors, calendar, weather, science, gluing, Bible Verses and more.

Instructor Bio:

Patsy has taught at Palaestra since 2002. She has her BA from the University of Michigan in Speech/Communications and Theater and her MA from Eastern Michigan University in Drama/Theater for the Young. She has been a teacher in the Theatre Arts since 1988. She owns the Shoe-String Theatre Co, LLC and has taught drama classes and workshops in local schools and at the Livonia YMCA. She also has her CDA for Early Childhood Development and was a Music Teacher at the Livonia Montessori School.
